Company Profile

Støtek Danmark ApS, have been in business for over 30 years, producing a wide range of electric resistance and fossil (gas and oil) fueled furnaces for melting, holding and dosing aluminum.  Støtek has a reputation for quality engineering and manufacturing, with durable and reliable operation at very high efficiency. After sales service is given a very high priority, and parts in stock include those for furnaces built more than 20 years ago.  The head office and factory of Støtek are located in Denmark, within easy access to major intercontinental highways, seaports and airports. 

Støtek, Inc. is the North American joint venture based in Pewaukee, near Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with responsibility for the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Both sales and service are provided, with particular emphasis on after sales support. 

The Støtek products consist of a range of furnaces for melting, holding and dosing aluminum.  Støtek is synonymous with quality and efficiency, and an innovative approach to the product design.

Of particular note is the Dosotherm dosing furnace, which provides the ability to transfer discrete and accurate shots of molten aluminum directly into the mold.  Applications include die casting, permanent mold and automatic molding lines.

Alliance

In June 2009 Støtek entered into a strategic alliance with Modern Equipment Company to jointly market their products.

In March 2010 Modern Equipment Company signed a License Agreement to manufacture the range of Støtek Tower Furnaces and larger Holding Furnaces for sale in North America.
